It is an exciting day to visit the natural beauty of Longji Terraces and experience the unique minority culture in the mountainous area of Guilin.
In the morning, our local guide will pick you up from hotel lobby at about 08:30 and drive toward Longsheng directly. It takes about 2-2.5 hours driving along the mountainous road to Longji Terraces Scenic Area. You will be stunned by the magnificent terraced paddy fields in the hill slope, surrounding the minority villages. Free time for you to climb and visit Longji Terraces before lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, walk around the ethnic group, you will find local villagers working in the fields, local women doing needle works under the roof, the kids running and playing in the village. We will start to drive back to Guilin in the late afternoon. The tour finishes at about 17:30.

Longji Terraces

The highlight sightseeing today is a leisurely cruise down the Li River to Yangshuo. Meandering through valleys, bamboo groves and mysterious Karst rock formations, the cruise will affords you a glimpse of a life far removed from the concrete jungle. After disembarking, stroll around the West Street which is the oldest street in Yangshuo with a history of more than 1,400 years. It now becomes a place that mixes the eastern and western culture harmoniously. Drive back to the Guilin through express way, while you will appreciate the Yangshuo ten-mile Gallery on the road.

Li River Cruise

In the morning, visit Reed Flute Cave which is a famous scenic spot mainly offering a magic fairyland of stalactites, stalagmites and stone columns. After that, we will drive back to the city center where the Jolie Vue Boutique Hotel is located, and enjoy a cozy coffe time with the exclusive view of the Elephant Trunk Hill from the terrace restaurant in the 7th floor of the hotel. It is the badge of Guilin city. It is the masterpiece of karst landscape. The whole hill looks exactly like a huge elephant stretching its trunk drinking water of the Li River. Enjoy a short visit to Riyue Shuangta Cultural Park for the Golden and Silver Twin Pagodas. In the afternnon, take flight or train for your next destination.
